In June 2011, I graduated from James Bowie High School in Simms, Texas. I attended college at Texas A&M-Texarkana and graduated in June 2016.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies in early childhood to 6^th grade with an emphasis in special education. I have certifications in Early childhood-6^th grade-generalist, as well as my K-12 Special Education. 

I have been employed with Simms ISD for 6 years. During my time with James Bowie, I have taught Middle School Special Education, and am currently starting in my 5th year as a 5^th grade mathematics and science teacher. 

Before graduating college, I worked for an in-home daycare. In the daycare, I was responsible for circle time each day which included the date, weather, letter of the day, a few songs, and a read aloud book. 

When I am not at school, you can find me at church, camping, spending time with family, watching and playing sports, or listening to music.
