I graduated from New Boston High School in 1991.

I graduated from Texas A&M-Texarkana in 1997.

    I began teaching at Simms ISD in 2003. I will start my twenty-second year in the district this school year.

I am currently the interventionist on our elementary campus. I have previously taught 1^st grade, 3^rd grade, 4^th grade, and 5^th grade.

Before teaching at James Bowie, I taught for five years at DeKalb Elementary. I will begin my twenty-seventh year as an educator this school year. 

I love spending time with my family.  I enjoy plants of all kinds and gardening.
