I am currently at James Bowie Elementary, where I have been teaching Kindergarten for three years.

I taught at the Professional Development School at Westlawn Elementary in Texarkana my first year of teaching. After that, I taught at Wake Village Elementary in Texarkana for eleven years. I taught five years of Kindergarten and six years of Second grade. 

I have been married to Johnny McBride for 22 years. We have two children. Baylee McBride is 20 and Dalton McBride is 16. Our daughter Baylee is a Senior at Ouachita Baptist University, and our son Dalton is a Junior at James Bowie High School.

I enjoy spending time with my family and working with the youth group at my church.
